KNITTED CHRISTMAS
ORNAMENTS!
We had so much fun with this in
December, we've decided to keep it
going all year!
Once a month, a new ornament or
two to try.  From very simple candy
cane cozies to cabled balls to tiny
sweaters.  Get ready to trim the
tree.  It'll be like a mini Christmas
party every month!
Thursday, May 27  6-7:30 pm.

SOCK OF THE MONTH CLASS   
Instructor:    Rainy Kimbrough

We'll be knitting a different sock every
month from the book "Sensational Knitted
Socks".  You MUST have previous sock
knitting experience.  We'll be knitting lace
socks, cabled socks, textured stitch
socks etc etc etc.  This month's classes
are May 21 1-3 pm or  6-8pm.    The fee
is $30 per month and you must own the
book.  Regularly priced at $24.95, it will
be yours for only $19.95 if you are taking
the classes.  Also, new sock yarns will be
made available to Sock of the Month
members before going on the store
shelves!
AUGUST NEWS
It was just too darn hot to think about knitting classes in August, so the
calendar is pretty bare. Basic Knitting classes are available every Saturday
morning at 9 a.m. by appointment only, so be sure to call and let me know if
you're interested.  There will be a sock heel class on Tuesday Aug 17th.  You
must have the leg of your sock done before the class, so get started today!  
We'll be starting the February Lady Sweater knit along classes on Monday,
the 16th. It's a garter stitch yoke and lace body, 3/4 sleeve cardigan.  Call for

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST!
Saturday, August 28th we'll celebrate Christmas in August.  
Come by the shop and have a Christmas cookie with us.  Get
some ideas and inspiration for your Christmas gift knitting.  
Starting at 6pm we'll have another pajama party.  Wear your
Christmas pajamas!  Bring your knitting or crocheting.  Snacks
to share are always welcome.
